We have the privilege of partnering with Child Evangelism Fellowship who provides training and materials to host a Good News Club (GNC) at elementary schools. GNCs are an after school club that meets together to learn about God and his word (the Bible). Currently, FBC hosts a GNC at two elementary schools in Macon county, Cartoogechaye and East Franklin. South Macon Baptist Church hosts a Good News Club and South Macon Elementary and Windy Gap Baptist Church hosts one at Iotla Valley Elementary School. Good News Clubs are a great way to help students learn from God's Word, the Bible, and share the good news of Jesus Christ with them. We sing songs, eat snacks, memorize Bible verses, share Bible stories and lessons, and play games based on the lesson.
